The Great American Rockabilly Riot in El Paso, Texas

I enjoyed setting up and practicing some photo booth-style shots at the Great American Rockabilly Riot in Texas at the Great American Steakhouse. It's an all-night event with bands, hot-rods, mechanical bull riding, local vendors, drink specials, contests, and cash prizes.

Putting a lot of thought into the theme of things, I found that a leopard print backdrop would be best suited for this setup. I simply bought the pattern from a fabric store and used clamps to hang the cloth.

Our props included a chalkboard, Coca-Cola bottles with straws, sunglasses, hats, and, more importantly, smiles. It was a long night of booze, dancing, selling, buying, conversations, and being a part of a great community within El Paso.
