Sip Into Summer with This Easy Kool-Aid Float Recipe

Ice cream floats are an ideal refreshing summer beverage for young children. Feel free to experiment with it in your home, and let me know what you think!

ICE-CREAM FLOATS

1 package of unsweetened Kool-Aid drink mix, any flavor
2 cups of water
1/2-1/3 cup of sugar
4 cups of ice
1-2 scoops of vanilla ice cream

In a blender, combine Kool-Aid, water, sugar, and ice. Blend. Pour into two large glasses and add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

PS. You can infuse vodka with Jolly Ranchers, much like Skittles or Starburst candies. Put your favorite flavor in the vodka for about 8-12 hours without shaking, and then chill it in the freezer for a few hours.
